Stuff like this is why I mantain these people arent really Christian isnt at all a "No True Scotsman". The god they worship is a strange mix of warrior and ancestry worship, a tumor that has gone growing unchecked on Western Christianity for far too long. It must be rooted out.
I mean, technically not, for very, very low drop rate souls it can save a bit of time, but considering all the time you have to spend to farm it in the first place... (Also, if it makes you feel better, the Soul Eater Ring functions as it should, as the increases in drop rate is separate from Luck)
Like you have cards like Super Quants that are obviously Power Ranger inspired and Purrely and it's Extra Deck lineup that is inspired by Eevolutions but they feel more like homages rather than corporations jacking eachother off in public
