Known as the meadow maker, Yellow Rattle helps wildflowers by keeping fast‑growing grasses in check, giving flowers more space to grow. With recent hot temperatures, it’s already set seed in some places in southern England. Now’s a good time to keep an eye out in other areas too. 👀

Did you know you can visit an Important Plant Area for arable flowers and the last remaining natural site in the UK for Corncockle in one place? Ranscombe Farm Nature Reserve in Kent is very special. And this week we’re celebrating 20 years of caring for this incredible habitat.
