36v spot welding go brrrr Replacing the batts in my UPS but one of the cables was a bit too short with the new ones (reached the connector but only went halfway on), salvaged one from another dead UPS but prob should have put some heat shrink on the bare end first lol

But I do like this WAAAAAY more than any of the modern buck tooth ass looking BMWs. The only good looking modern BMW is the 2 series which I know is also a pretty controversial opinion lol
I actually quite like this thing personally… the rear is almost giving late model Pontiac vibes (complimentary)
There can still be enjoyment in lil fun cars while still also understanding that for most people alternate transportation is the better choice! a lot of car enthusiasts, especially on here, are very much in support of that!
Replaced my dented front wheel with a 17” from an SV650, and WOW. The handling difference is insane, feels like a completely different bike. I do need to get better matched tires though now lol I can feel the profile difference between the front sport tire and the rear 90/10 big time
I still have so much left to do on this car but finally got some motivation to put it back together, and hopefully getting an engine put together for it this week!
For how shit the body and paint are it cleaned up surprisingly well for the quick polish and wax I did.

Got my 4runner back from the shop today, she looking good, needs a full detail though. Almost sad about turning back in the Elantra rental though, we quite enjoyed our time with it. Don't think I'd actually buy one (residuals aside, long term reliability is questionable and there were minor...
The only thing I'm retvrn about is this era of Apple, this is the best computer they ever made hands down

It's kinda fiddly to make work if it doesn't have those pins actually broken out (and I have seen in some cases where those pins aren't even populated) but you'll just put a resistor between cc1 and ground and cc2 and ground
I'm just saying, OrganicMaps still shows it as the Gulf of Mexico. No Google services required.
