First is an establishing shot of the campground (you can see the cabins as specs on the lower left) it's a huge lake reflecting the cloudy sky, with mountains covered in trees. The sun is rising on the right. It took a while do draw haha

Second panel is of Kyra the dinosaur wearing a yellow camp shirt while standing on the beach next to the lake. She does some fancy steps, does a cool backflip, then some sort of break dancing spin move in the dirt.

But what's this? Some sort of mysterious figures seem to be watching in a small 3rd panel on the side!

First panel is of Kyra dancing with a group of girls on their camping scout trip in the cabin. One of the scout master ladies comings in to remind them to turn out the lights as they need to sleep. One of the girls comments that they can sleep when they get home, or just stay forever as suggested by Kyra.

All of them go into their bunk beds in the dark. Kyra fumbles and tussles with the covers until she is in a comfortable position. She thinks about the situation for a moment then gets a surprisingly gigantic smile upon her face.

It happened often in the first part of the comic, when she was a baby and hanging out with the local animals. She's mostly been hanging out with humans in part two, teenage years, so it's hardly come up. Which is a shame, as it's very fun to write.

Two raccoons are sneaking through the woods when dinosaur Kyra surprises them from a tree. She asks if they're starving or dumb to come into the camp while she's there. They reply, in their own animal language, to "shut up" and get "hit with a mallet" Kyra concludes that they're stubborn and brave. Nevertheless, she tells them to stay away form her friends and for THEIR friends to leave them alone. They respond that her brain should fall out. Rude!

Paul - No. You agreed to be the reward for the scouts who made the most cookie sales.
Kyra (upset) - That doesn't sound like me.

Paul - And you'd hang out with them on their weekend cabin camping trip.

I was going to pass on the "bra strap" meme, until I realized it was the perfect opportunity to draw an outfit I saw one time. If you have to order custom fits, might as well go all out, you know? #annart | #oc

A woman (Ann from my webcomic) with blonde hair & pink highlights, large blue shirt, visible black straps, and a green tattoo going down her left arm - is being annoyed. Someone off screen seems flabbergasted that they can see Ann's bra strap.

Ann responds by lifting up her shirt to reveal her whole bra. It is modeled after thr character Gir from Invader Zim - green with black straps, a goofy dog face, and the words "doom" over the bottom. The off screen puritan is speachless.

I am very proud at how this lake shot turned out on page 1647 of my dinosaur webcomic - even more so when compared to a similar panel I made on page 599 twelve years earlier.

A guard is confused, when Kyra the dinosaur points out that she LOVES human cities! "They're full of so many people and building and ideas to discover. But it's also full of RULES. No running. You can't go there. Stop screaming."

Panel 1: Ann is at work in her work uniform. She is happily reenacting the scenes of her playing volleyball. The people in the restaurant, including her BFF Maitea, are enjoying her story.

Panel 2: Paul is at work being very proud of himself for some reason. All her coworkers are impressed with him, also for some reason. The sun in setting in the background. That has a reason - it's evening now.

Panel 3: Kyra the dinosaur is in one of her rooms. It's full of books, drawings, and a blue pillow bed. It's nighttime now, as indicated by the window. Kyra herself is actually very upset about something. What could be it? By the way, this is actually a mirror and we're looking at a refection. How about that!

Kyra the dinosaur picks up a soccer ball with her foot, declaring that she has an advantage with a game you can't use your hands for. She proceeds to show off a whole punch of fancy footwork with the ball. A player says Kyra's coordination is impressive, but there's more to the game. Kyra then does a cool flip, then kicks the ball crazy hard. The soccer players realize Kyra's kicks could knock them out and trying to be the goalie is hard enough.

Kyra the dinosaur jumps behind Paul to hit a volleyball. She is upset that it bounces off his head and falls to the ground. Now PAUL is upset and Kyra remarks that his head is too hard. The rich man in blue that nobody likes says to keep trying, enjoying Paul in pain.

Kyra the dinosaur jumps behind Ann to try again. This time she bounces it off of one of Ann's huge boobs but alas, it falls to the floor again. Ann scolds Kyra, while Kyra is upset that physics don't work in that area. That rich guy again says to keep going, as he enjoyed it for a completely different reason. We continue to not like him.
