Maybe everyone already knows this but Nico Williams wears "Williams Jr" on his back because he plays with his older brother Iñaki at Athletic Club Bilbao. It's Jr as in little brother, not son. #FWC26

On Monday, Trump repeatedly said Balogun's challenge should never have resulted in a dismissal. "I've never seen anything like it," he said. "So I saw the play, and I'm a person that loves sports and was a good athlete. I understand sports really well. Really well.

Trump said he only learned after the match that a straight red card carried an automatic suspension. "It's one thing to penalize somebody for the game," he said. "But how do you penalize them for a game that hasn't been played yet? It's very unfair."

Charlie Pickering is saddened "anyone would think that I would agree to an interview with that provocateur." How should we interpret speaking for 20 minutes on camera to a convicted wife-basher and self described "Jewish Nazi" if it's not agreeing to an interview.

Text: In the livestreamed full conversation - nearly 20 minutes long - Pickering tries to engage with accusations of editorial bias at the ABC, disagreeing with a claim by Yemini that the majority of Australians wanted to defund the national broadcaster. But the "problematic" comment was clipped up and went viral.

Text: "For anyone to suggest that I was commenting on her ability to host a podcast on autism ... my feelings are irrelevant in this, but that was nothing about what I was saying. And it also saddens me that anyone would think that I would agree to an interview with that provocateur. I was out in good faith, trying to talk to protesters who were outside the ABC and were critical of ABC bias, and I wanted to get their stories.

"I was ambushed, essentially, while I was ... repeatedly trying to talk to other people and trying to, as gracefully as possible, get out of the situation."
