That is one hot ass, making my tongue hard just looking at it. Other appendages are hard too!!
Finally after a week of the temps over 100 degrees Fahrenheit every day, this afternoon the sky opened up and dropped 1.75 inches of much needed rain and dropped the temp from 105 down to 75 degrees Fahrenheit, yippie kie a!!!
Just as my fragrant yellow lily is finishing, my Casablanca white lily comes into bloom, so fragrant!!!
Well I fertilized and deep watered my 100 roses today and for a very hot and very dry season so far, they look pretty good, good foliage and lots of color. The rose flowers get a bit smaller and the edges of the petals burn more quickly in the heat, but that is to be expected.
