I spend several hours a day reviewing the new, absorbing and interpreting it. I share most here, and on Facebook. But I've been doing some late planting this week, while we had a cool spell. Today it's almost 80, so I'm going out side for a few hours. Got more soil, to make it easier, too.
Okay. My maternal grandmother did the same. My Dad (Southern Plains) inherited a very old revolver (Colt 42) from HIS father after he died in the mid-1960s. Kept it hidden in his recliner. And we ALL locked our doors. NOWADAYS good parents ask if the host parent has guns, before a playdate.

Went to Watkins Glen and Trumansburg on Saturday. Windy so my hands were busy hanging onto my sign, and only took a couple pix, and those were in Trumansburg, NY.

My brain hasn't worked most of the day. Tried to read 3 opened articles and it took all evening and I still didn't absorb it. Felt foggy-brained. I DID go outside, remove an old plant hanger and random screws, drilled pilot holes and attached flag holder. So now, U.S. AND the Pride flag are flying.
How sick is this??? Walmart employees use SNAP to feed their families. I heard on the local classic rock station abt a "Turkey dropoff" (WKRP, anyone?). Details? Donate a turkey @ Walmart for SNAP users. Goal is 500. Something sick. This is PART of the food pantry for hungry in Ovid last night.
A couple really good signs (plus mine) at Saturday 11/1 "Disappeared in America" event at the Seneca Falls NY Women's History Center. Most of us now make two-sided signs. I'm behind a paper scroll, frog hat with eyes poking above the paper.
