I've been downloading a pdf of the strats so I don't have to flip through each slide and can see all of them at a glance. Alas, we're allergic to putting changelog times and dates so now I get to deal with whatever this is:

Browser full of google slides links in the browser history. Each time you click a slide it's a new link so it fills your history with garbage.

The monkey's paw curls and my limbal rings have broken. Looks like they have changed values on the Emissive and UV fade. These are unchanged settings and it looks different from before (second image in quoted post.) Emissive is brighter. UV fade is sharper and thinner.

Elezen with limbal rings. Changed values are as follows:

Emissive .035
Iris Ring UV Fade Width Inner .058 Outer .020
Irish Ring UV Radius Inner .170 Outer .0174

Iris Ring Force Color is set to a red from before the color was affected by Feature Color.

For 8.0 I am also manifesting further system message filtering. The addition of filtering out glamour notifications was a godsend. I need the rest.

Ratri is designed to be incredibly vanilla-friendly and something I encourage others to do as best they can. One of the visual things I notice, albeit subtle, is how dark her eyes look in cutscenes for new patches. Really looking forward to see how the 8.0 eye rework will look on her.

Vanilla Ratri in the initial 7.5 MSQ cutscene. The lighting is dark with subtle electronic lightsources.

Modded Ratri which looks nearly identical to vanilla Ratri. The hair and skin have slight texture upscaling. The eyes have a diffused limbal ring which brightens the red color and gives it more depth. She is in overcast daylight in limsa.

I've lost my mind to the point I'm logging this shit. People telling me it's a skill issue and I need to study more make me want to scream. I just think losing twice shouldn't undo 7 hours of gameplay and I'm not even back in the 1900s.
