I used to take my Therapy Dog to retirement homes. So many of them were so thankful because they couldn't bring their pets when they were incarcerated. They loved just being around a dog again, even those that had cats before.
It's how the Internet, and Social Media, work. Get used to it. I'll spend half an hour composing an erudite post on politics, and I get maybe 30 likes. If I spend about 15 seconds posting a picture of this goofball, I get hundreds. this is actually not a Bad Thing at all, if you think about it
It's Brindle Love. They are funny dogs, but their love is 100% real, and unquestionable.
His district is insanely Gerrymandered. They know he can keep sex crimes quiet, so he's a lifer.
He's passed out here because he was up all night rage-tweeting crazy stuff. It's called "sundowning". He is absolutely not fit for office.
Well, we got Penny, the deaf Foster Dog. This is Day 6. She's come out of her shell around the house, and is even starting to torment our older dog. Out on a walk, or anywhere in public though, she's still quite afraid of everything. But, she's sweet, playful and goofy, she'll get better.
Thanks - I know we're "qualified" because of Bumble, but this poor pup is so scared and skittish. We'll likely do it anyway - it's not permanent. Bumble pic included for those who have no idea what we're talking about - he was a great pup and did lots of Therapy Dog visits with Laurie's group.
I have one of them too! He tries to look pathetic and starved, as the fat rolls over his hips. Seriously though, he's a rescue, and was starved before we got him, so I understand his food issues. I know he'll never get over it. He's still adorable.
I know times are crazy, but it's important that we all take time to relax and recharge. You can't fight if you are too tired, emotional, etc.
It depends where you get your news. I've seen many posts from law enforcement saying they had zero arrests, but this was Fox "News" had on their site all afternoon:
This is Bumble, who had his face melt while he was sleeping. I miss him a lot!
In looking at the MSM, they are mostly talking about Taco Man's failed parade, but very little to no mention of the millions who marched peacefully at the same time. Sad. Anyway, here was my sign from Saturday. It was an awesome, fun, friendly and upbeat gathering.
This is Pono - he's from Hawaii originally, and he spends a lot of time upside down.
I've posted about our pup, Meadow, who we saved from euthanasia, and who we really can't keep. Well, great news, she's been adopted by a new family, with another big dog to lay with, a couple of teenagers to run around with, and a Mom and Dad who will spoil her. Success!
Here they all are lining up to work alongside our unstable, incompetent and unpopular "administration".
I was finally able to get Meadow, the big, strong, young energetic dog out on a good walk. Did about 2 1/2 miles with her, she really needed it. She's much calmer and happier, and it didn't crease me entirely. Still need t get her adopted, she's WAY too much dog for our old asses now.
One of my pups is having a nasty, broken tooth removed tomorrow morning. She'll hate it at first, but it will give her much relief eventually. I hope it all goes well!
This is my pup, Pono.He was adopted from Hawaii during the pandemic. He can usually be found attached to some part of me, we call him Lap Leech or Velcro Dog most of the time. This picture is of his other favorite activity, begging for food.
