Sometimes I miss our garden in Manchester. This photo popped up on my phone. I built it with my own hands from an overgrown mess, including the paved stones, the flower beds, and even the brick BBQ at the back. Who knows what it looks like now...

I have been working at this dark corner of our patio. It received very little sun, nothing grew very well. I got a bathtub and made it into a planter. Dug up the soil and put the bricks and gravel in a pattern of the roots of the tree. All the bricks are pre-used. Let me know what you think.
The Arabic bit in DNA Just learnt that "ribo-" of Deoxyribonucleic acid (or DNA) is derived from ribose (the sugar side bars of DNA), which comes from Arabinose, so called as it was originally extracted from Gum arabic, a sap from acacia. "Arabic" the extract came to Europe through Arab ports.
