ICare 9000 is heading to one of the biggest Sci-Fi festivals in Eastern Europe! We are finalists for best Short Sci-fi Film at The Galactic Imaginarium Film Festival. Looking forward to screening our film internationally
ICare 9000 picked up two awards at the Scottish Short Film Festival. Another well deserved win for Kirsten Maguire for her excellent performance. It was also a very nice suprise to pick up an award for best writing.
Just watched the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony. It's a nice touch that the England teams uniform is stained red with blood, a subtle nod to the colonial past of the competition.
ICare 9000 continues it's festival journey. It has been selected for the BIFA qualifying Mansfield Town Film Festival! It's a great fest that focuses on working class stories, really proud to be part of it. It's screening as part of the 'Strange Encounters’ strand on Sep 25th.
Our film ICare 9000 is returning to Scotland. We have been selected as part of the scottish short film festival 2026. The festival runs from the 29th to 31st of July at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow. Hope to see you there!

Thought I'd share some of great reviews ICare 9000 has been getting on it's festival circuit. We're really happy with the fab audience reactions so far. It's screening next in LA1 Film festival this Saturday in Lancaster so worth a look if your in the neighbourhood.
What is a seals favourite class at school? Art! Art! Art! Had a good afternoon at the RSA. Wish I had the time/energy to make more art. I'm working too darn hard at the moment.
Hot on the heels of an excellent screening at Sci-Fi London Film Fest last week, ICare 9000 returns to the silver screen. Come see our Sci-fi comedy short at Romford Film Festival this weekend. Catch it, and a whole bunch of other great shorts Sunday at 2PM at the Lumiere cinema.
A quick stop to see some art before jumping on the train to London. Good shows at both The Fruit Market and Stills.
One week till our film ICare 9000 has it's London Premier as part of Sci-fi-London's Shorts programme! For those living in that still beating heart of a dead empire, come see our award winning, funny,sad, lo-fi, sci-fi film next Sunday! It's pretty good and the other film on show look great as well.
I promise this is my last post bragging about this, but the award arrived! Looking very nice on the bookcase next to the one from St Andrews FF. I'll end the ego trip now, but if you want to see our multi award winning film it's playing in Edinburgh at Si-Fan ff on Sunday.

It’s going to be a very busy May for our short film ‘iCare 9000’ We have been selected for another big film fest: Romford Film Festival which runs from the 22nd to 25th of May. London Friends, come along to see our funny little sci-fi film and plethora of other great shorts and features.
Next Weekend is a huge one for our film ‘iCare 9000’. We are screening at two film festivals on Saturday the 25th of April . The BIFA Qualifying Beeston FF and the excellent celebration of genre film that is Forbidden Worlds FF in Bristol. Get tickets if you can, both great festivals!
Had a nice wee wander around Kirkcaldy the other day. It gets a bad rap but it's a mighty nice walk down to Dysart Harbor, there's good exhibitions in the art gallery and a decent garden centre. What more do you people want?
ICare 9000 has been selected for it's 10th Film Festival!!! It will be screening at SCI-FI London, which runs from 13 - 17 of May. Can't wait for our wee film to be part of UKs largest Sci-Fi Film festival! #scifilondon
Good news, ICare 9000 is returning to Edinburgh for another screening. You can catch it amongst a range of excellent genre shorts as part of the Si-Fan Festival. Get yourself to the Edinburgh Cinema Video Society on the 3rd of May for some sci-fi fun.
Took a wee walk around Culross. Always enjoy the contrast of the idylic medival town with the furnaces of Mordor across the forth.

Great weekend visit to Glasgow. Starting off with a successful screening of my new film at Partick Film Festival, then art galleries, graveyards and a good gig. Glasgow has it all!

1st day of the new year over. Very glad to see the back of 2025. A tough year. The sunset was beautiful this evening.
Idyllic dog walk around Crichton. Looking at these images it would seem like we are having a beautiful time dog sitting. Little would you know that a few hours later one of these dogs would jump up on my lap, then vomit all over it. God knows what she ate but she seems fine now.
Terrible/perfect poster placement here making it look like Jimmy Carr is laughing at the homeless. Something that tax-evading, genocide supporting, laminated turd would almost certainly do.
