Kara Walker Learned of her 1st in uni. My leaning towards interesting silhouettes stems in part from her art. Some of the most devastatingly haunting pieces Ive ever seen. The contrast she plays up between the GRIM subject matter & these opaque, black, obscured, & reminiscent of cartoon shapes…fuck
