Discord has been complying in advance, and going further than is legislated. Here in Australia, they were *exempted* from the under 16 social media ban. But, despite it not being law, they implemented this same age assurance garbage. So yeah, no, I'm gonna be critical of Discord too actually.

No, he did not stand trial.

Doctors deemed Kurtaj unfit to stand trial due to his severe autism so the jury was asked to determine whether or not he committed the alleged acts - not if he did so with criminal intent.
