Looking after a house and cat-sitting this little sweetheart for a week. ❤️

Sealed and fully painted. Added more white to the spikes for a greater contrast, added more dark brown spots and followed that up with a few washes to darken the colour underneath the spikes on the sides, then did a couple washes of the tan to even it all out.

Bought a new shelf for the random little bits and bobs floating around.

Requested by my kid, who wanted me to make a gift she can give to a friend who is moving away tomorrow. The friend loves sharks, Hammerheads in particular. Kiddo chose the pose and she wanted it flat - the bottom looks a bit like a baked cookie, but I think his mouth is my favourite part. :)

Finished this guy, more or less. Needs another round of paint to touch it up (glad I took pictures before sealing or else I would have missed that dark brown streak on one of the horns). It’s a mix of matte paint and “satin”, but once the sealant is on it’ll have a more uniform shine to it. 🙂

Awhile back there was a story about someone on Tiktok who bought a croissant lamp from a website. All was fine for awhile but then ants started showing up and they were attracted to the lamp. Thus they found out their lamp was real pastry covered in resin. Anyone hungry?
