There are other potential sites such as Mactung, Sisson, and a few others. The price has basically tripled in just the last 6 months. Whether that price continues to climb, levels off, or returns to more historic prices remains to be seen, but it could make Cantung more attractive to re-open.

No need for another, at least in the foreseeable future. TMX has been sitting around 700,000 bpd for months with capacity currently at 900,000 bpd. There are plans already to expand that capacity by another 2-300,000 bpd, meaning the pipeline is <60% utilised when factoring in future capacity.

Critical minerals include rare earths, but they're not interchangeable. For example, Cu is included in critical, but not rare. If you broaden to include critical, we're a major supplier of critical minerals, excluding REs. We have the resources, but not the production capacity for REs.
