You know what wasn't found on it? Any evidence for the existence of god.
It's worded a bit more antagonistically than I would have put it (this just gives apologists an excuse to claim that our atheism is just being angry at god, blah blah), but still...I agree with the basic sentiment.

I have never heard a believer even attempt to answer this. Most won't even acknowledge the question at all.
There are some lovely people in Texas. You won't find hardly any of them in the church, or in the state government, but I'm sure they are around there somewhere.

The only reason so many christians remain christian is their ignorance of their own religion.

I would recommend steering clear of them, for the sake of your physical, mental, and emotional health.
And forfeit their empathy, their morality, their decency, and their sanity for the promise of afterlife gifts that will never come, while they spend their lives hurting and oppressing people in the name of a fiction.
Frankly, I'd be more likely to believe in him than Yahweh or Jesus.
And BTW, there are more scientists who don't believe in a god than those that do.
I'm glad I don't struggle with addiction for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is avoiding the recovery program god-botherers.
Nothing like telling people that their imaginary friend wants them to stay in their lanes to keep people oppressed.
