I really should have gotten pictures of the sprues when these pieces were just randomly scattered as needed to fit. Those TTCombat folks are impressively creative.
MDF: Egypt Edition. Or maybe Stargate if we're doing sci-fi. These were weird to put together, more like those 3d puzzles than the buildings.
A couple more MDF #miniterrain buildings, both from TTCombat: the Octopod Skyway and Guard Tower. I tried to find stuff that was a little more dynamic and friendly to mix and match than big bespoke pieces, even if the big pieces were really cool.

Picked up a few more of these, including fun colors for objectives. Christmas had a rough trip across the Pacific, unfortunately, but I was planning to use that for some experimenting anyway.
Weekend Project #3: 5PDR, mechanical terror and master. A really fun kitbash and a good test for the AP metallic speed paints. They're fine, less opaque than other speed paints I've used, mostly they're just good metallics. Worked well here! #minipainting #kitbash #mini365 Minis YTD: 62 (+1)

Finally found these miniature cargo containers for a reasonable price and shipping time, they make for some very cool miniature terrain. Almost perfect size for 28mm.
Had the realization that Lestat and Sephiroth are kind of the same guy. They both randomly got obsessed with and stalked a single twink to the point of mutual mental breakdown while participating in apocalyptic events brought about by their almost entirely unconcealed mommy stuff.

Split a set of GF9 xenomorphs with the bf to go with the queen I bought a bit ago. Hoping to make these a quick painting project with a bit of dry brushing.
I obviously recommend it lol. The first two seasons are a fantastic Southern Gothic romance, but the new season/show really flipped it on its head by completely changing perspectives and tone in a great way that really leveled up the story. And everyone is so painfully attractive...
