Current status does not suck.

The view from a pontoon cruising down an Alabama lake. The sky is a stupid ridiculous shade of blue with a handful of tiny clouds looking all sassy. The water is a deep emerald green surrounded by a thick growth of (mostly) wild southern forest. The front benches of the toon stretch out in front of the viewer. A pool net lies on the floor because some people suck and we fish out any trash we run across.

Not a tourist but a tourist related story. I heard two German guys this weekend laughing and talking about asking a group of people (in Alabama) about recommendations for a good local restaurant....the group they asked "adopted" them, took them out for barbecue for dinner, beers until late, then Waffle House. They kept laughing that everyone told them they'd hate America but the two guys were having a ball.

The hallway to nowhere isn’t beating the allegations. Need the showers after you come out of the SMEG room! (Love the “nothing to see here” bike/mop blockade)

A short pristine white hallway to nowhere with a pristine white SMEG refrigerator/freezer at the end facing out. A bicycle has been stood on end in front of the fridge with its front tire off and propped next to it. A mop bucket is in front of the bike as if it’s all intended to block access to the fridge. The entire scene is just outside the door to a shower room/small dungeon. If this were a movie, the fridge would be a secret door.

Can we talk about this for a second because what???

A wrought-iron looking room-divider plant stand is being used as a wall at the top of a staircase to an apparent sex dungeon. Instead of oh, having all the feet of the stand on the floor, the stand is hung from the low ceiling leaving the front feet on the floor and the back feet in midair. There is a church pre sitting in front of the stand, so there was room for it on the floor. The ceiling hook and floating edge have been circled.

My first memory of a crush as a kid is Debbie Harry and for decades I've guessed that the show I remember was probably about 1979ish and maybe a NYE. IMDB says I'm correct! Then '80 follows it up with these two and seven-year-old me was doomed.
