Put it in the same mask used for smoothness and metallic. You don't need to use poi's preset in substance. For example I just use Unity HD Metallic, the same as standard. R: Metallic G: AO B: Unused, but you can put whatever you want here for other effects A: Smoothness Poi can be setup like this

Folks really need to use ambient occlusion more. Everything looks so much better with it. (Please don't bake it into the base color. It's a separate mask that affects lighting! ❤️)
