Pyat, a Mouse
@pyat
Poorly curated personality advertisement for an actual mouse. Former reporter, sometime writer about orcs & rabbit samurai. Now Infosec bureaucrat. As seen on TV. Ponderous whimsy a specialty, sometimes factual. Squeak.
Around 5 AM our cockatiel woke up, left his sleeping perch, and started jumping on us till we woke up. He was alert and tense, but totally silent. I think he smelled smoke on the air. I had to bring him downstairs and turn on some lights before he'd settle.
I get about 500 km on a small tank of gas, and once was able to carry myself and other chunky LARPers with a tent and gear to a camping LARP in Indianapolis!
"This week on Hearts of Space. An emergent tonal wallpaper, originally composed for East German Singing Bowl, but performed entirely on Theremin. Yes, it's Constance Demby's 1972 extended conceptual emulation of the ethereal bongs of the Glockenfurz."
I went on a road trip with @perthum.bsky.social and she hardly touched her LSD.* *Box actually contains partly-eaten chicken quesadilla.
Father's Day card from my youngest, who asked me which one of the bots was anti-ICE. @billcorbett.bsky.social the youth salute you. And fathers.
They, because sometimes he is shown in groups! And sometimes, he rides a horse, so he's not always walking. :D
This is not a personal relationship update, just an idea sparked by the cover art for musician BA Johnston's new album, entitled: "I don't know who needs to hear this right now, but they are never going to come back and you will die alone"
I guess people were worried they'd been kicked out of Windsor and were running around with street dogs in a Manchester slum and... wait, someone get Don Bluth on the phone! Or Andrew Lloyd Weber!
I got to tell @veeunit.bsky.social about the time I met Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake at a pizzeria in Hagersville. And also the Townsend "f*cking cornfield" story.
Last weekend was melancholic, but involved necessary and important re-connections to extended, even though some were sad. I did get to spent a lot of time with my Dad and sisters, and that was all good. And there was ice cream at sunset!
If you want a picture of the future of American politics, imagine Ross Perot punching through a straw hat - forever.
I assumed this guy would be a suspect because he's a small town reporter on his first gig but he's carrying a camera and lens that run about $10K. The last newspaper I worked at had three beat-up entry level DLSRs with two lens between them and we had to share.
Does those games still have photographer who looks like Dennis Hopper from Apocalypse Now?
I have finally unlocked the spaghetti supply chain, but there may be value-added distribution steps along the way that I'm missing. Spaghetti resellers, and so on.
Based on these numbers, you are correct! 71,273 locations for the top five chains. Also, I've never heard of Hunt's Pizza. A different article notes that in the 1920s there were over 100,000 Chinese restaurants in the US and that seems crazy but also possible?
Hold fast, Hold on! Nothing is a dream until you Wake up, Cry out Now it isn't real...
"No, I am not that guy from Arrested Development. His name is Buster. I am Jon. I mean John."
"Hello, yes? No Jon is supporting another customer. This is John. Yes, we are both small-town Americans. We are named Jon and John." (Image from an Amazon page selling the Jounjip Electric Shoe Polisher.)
