I have a baggy full of craft string/embroidery floss and a tiny crochet hook. Not what these patterns call for, but I'm adapting it on the fly and figuring it out 😆
We are on vacation visiting far away family and having a very pleasant visit. If I don't post much it's because I'm being lazy. Also, I made a mini octopus 😁

There are five shrimp in the photo with the plant. 😊❤️ The obvious one on the left is not even a half an inch long. The biggest is an inch at most. The new hatchlings are 2-3 millimeters. Maybe. ❤️
We have vegetables! (We used to have an eggplant too, but somebody, not us, ate it) 😆❤️
A trouble with having itty-bitty pets is that they are very hard to see sometimes! This neocaridina shrimp has eggs and is busy fannng them to care for them. One way to tell if they are ready to hatch is the eggs become more clear and you can see baby eyes, except she's so small!! 😊❤️
Beep would like you to know that cats are excellent companions because they can learn to do everything humans can do, like fold laundry (disclaimer: results may vary)
Ninja hurt her eye somehow and it was looking very goopy and infected, so we took her over to pet ER last night. They took excellent care of her and she is now home, on meds, and wearing an annoying cone for the next week. She would like us to tell you that this is very stupid and unfair.

This is the map @jefftiedrich.bsky.social posted. Find Kuwait City on this map and go East into the Persian Gulf, you will see a tiny dot that is Faliaka Island. That is MUCH closer than Qatar, and it's 90+ minutes to get there by passenger ferry! My youngest went on a field trip there in 5th grade.
It was HOT today, but we went out late afternoon and worked until after the sun went down to get plants in the ground. Our garden is now (fingers crossed for luck!) gardening! Also, after a lot of noise and such, a baby fawn was born in our backyard at 3am. (No photos, flash would be scary). ❤️😊
I was working until 9pm and it was getting dark out. It was so much cooler in the evening! I got a lot done and am almost ready to put my plants out 😊❤️ I take it slow, because my stupid back is stupid, but I'm really happy I could do this! I'm going to hurt tomorrow though. 😆 Where's my Motrin? 😝😂
We've got most of the dirt we need in there now, next I've got to build the fence at the open end and we'll be ready to move our poor little garden plants out of their pots and into the real world ❤️
Garden progress sometimes requires relocating friends who are too little to help at the moment. Later, little guy, you can come back and eat bugs 😊❤️🐍
