My little grey torbie cat, Anni, curled up on the back of my couch. She curls a paw over her eyes to shield them from the living room light as she naps.

Anni in the same pose as previous, but with her head slightly raised and her squinty eyes revealed. She's detected the paparazzi and wants to make her disapproval known.

Sadly the phone camera can't quite capture the beige cast to everything, but the view on the way in, roughly right before 8am. I wish I could've caught the bit of Columbus skyline I see before I hit downtown; the buildings were just matte slabs of warm grey in the haze. mmm nummy~

I hadn't drawn so much as a doodle in months, between buying the house, moving, general stress, and inertia. Boss isn't here and it's slow, so I sneaked in a ballpoint pen quasi-life drawing session via YT hnnngh god I missed life drawing (the results, for the curious)

Continuation of life drawing, with a series of warm-up shapes filling the upper left corner. A phone number has been censored with a "SWEATIN'" digital sticker.
The same slim feminine figure strikes another lunging pose, this time deeper and with their arms folded under their torso. Then they hit an open standing pose with both legs bent and wide apart; their arms are held in a way that frames their head squarely. The smaller standing figure in the center is one drawn from imagination after finishing my session, meant to reinforce my revisit to drawing fundamentals.

makin' my own cabinet shelves aww by my widdoo sewf~

A roughly 2 foot by 2 foot square of particle board clamped to a pair of black plastic saw horses by 4 red and chrome wood clamps. The board has been sawn in half with a circular saw (not pictured, but whose red battery pack has been disconnected and sits on the side nearest to us). Plastic safety glasses and a used 3M N95 mask sit alongside the battery. Slim chunks of excess wood sit on the ground beneath the whole tableau. Yay power tool usage!

first major home maintenance endeavor COMPREAT I think this was the first time this poor little AC unit had *ever* been cleaned D: but now, when I turn on the air, it shouldn't have to work nearly as hard as I'm sure it did for the previous tenants~

"Before" picture of OP's new home's air conditioner unit with the exterior grating removed. The entire outside is caked in dust, dandelion seeds, and some bird down.

The results of vacuuming just one side: A blue wet/dry vac's dustbin is halfway filled with great hairy grey dust bunnies. Mmm, nummy!

The same AC unit after a thorough vacuuming. It's still somewhat dirty as it's a several-years-old unit, but at least now the grey blanket of dust is gone and you can see some daylight between its fins.

The same AC unit, now reassembled. The top grate has been scrubbed clean, and there is significantly less dirt and debris on the side grating. A small blue wet/dry vac, a black-and-yellow nut driver, and a blue socket wrench set sit off to the right.
