Did a lot of grinding this month between Endless Ragnarok and Dragon Quest with a little sprinkle of indie there at the end

Finished Dragon Quest VII Reimagined last night and I loved it! The episodic design made picking up and putting down the game extremely easy and while it got a bit fatiguing by the end it was still an enjoyably digestible experience. The bland characters would be the only real sore spot for me 8/10

Any guesses on what my favorite Tales game is? Doubling up on the physical lol

I'm so excited to be back on DQ VII Reimagined. With the job system now available to me I'm expecting everything to open a bit more. I just love a good job system😊

I have done it! I have finished the Relink expansion. Whew 😩 my hands haven't ached like this from playing a game in a long time. I'm sure ready to get back to Dragon Quest's command based combat. I'll share more in depth thoughts on the expansion after I let it digest a bit but I had a blast.

Hit the 20 hour mark in DQ VII, literally just unlocked vocations lol. I'm loving this game. It's working It's DQ magic. On another note the Granblue Fantasy Relink expansion releases tomorrow and I'm super excited. I'll be taking a few days away from DQ to explore the expansion.

New book arrived today. Something new to read before bed 💜💛

Star Ocean First Departure R finished! Started this replay completely expecting to put it down after an hour then find something else to play but I just love Star Ocean. This game was also way tougher than I remember it being, which after playing the fairly easy Starbites was kind of nice.

I somehow fell into a Star Ocean First Departure R replay and I really couldn't tell you how. It's feeling right though. 🚀🌠

Started SAO Fatal Bullet because according the everyone this is the best game in the series. I've avoided it because it's a third person shooter rpg and shooters are nawt my cup of tea. Case in point, I wiped on the first mission 😭 I'm loving everything else so far, 😮‍💨 guess I just need to git gud

Rolled credits on Starbites last night. Despite some unfavorable performance issues I still enjoyed it. It's simple and doesn't try anything new but it's a solid, old school jrpg. The lore and world building was my favorite part and makes me hope for a sequel 🤞 7/10

I've been listening to Olivia Rodrigo's you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love all day. 10/10, her best effort to date. My top 3 tracks on day 1 are 1.) purple 2.) stupid song 3.) maggots for brains 🩷💿

Atelier Karia sort of got lost in the sauce with all the huge rpg announcements but I'm keeping my eye on this. I enjoyed Atelier Yumia for the most part and if Gust can iron out the experience I think they may have a winning formula on their hands.

I'm about five hours in to Starbites and I'm really enjoying myself so far. That said this game looks pretty bad on Switch. So many of the textures are low res, even the 2D character art is super blurry. I'm not someone who's usually bothered enough about graphics to mention them but it's noticeable

The big takeaways for me. All bangers and we got a release date for the new Dragon Quest Monsters. If we had gotten even just a release window for KH4 I would've added it.
