We celebrate our 34th anniversary today (it's complicated). For our 20th, we got tattooed, and for our 25th, we got legally hitched, but now we're incredibly boring elders who are going out for an early bird dinner. 👴🏻👵🏻

Today was vet visit: routine, and Fun With Plumbing: *not* routine. (They had to break open the ceiling like this to get to the plumbing problem.) Ugh. For once, though, our landlord's worker was competent, polite, efficient, and friendly. #GoKnow

I take a bunch of HUGE supplements, but these CalMags are the worst 'cos of size & quantity. I can barely choke down the *3* I have to take each morning. I have to use about a quart of water. (Additionally, as my doctors & dentist can attest, my mouth & throat are extra small.) I kinda dread it.

She was a purring bundle of love and lived to be 18. Sweetest cat I ever knew.

When I got her from a rescued litter of five, I asked which one is the least likely to be adopted. They told me the black one because of superstition & that it was always so with black cats, so naturally I took her. Best choice ever.

The rescuer said they named her Gina after Gina Lollobrigida "because she was so tempestuous". I dunno if the Gina the actress *was* actually tempestuous, but a less tempestuous cat than Gina would be tough to find.

I will always miss her.
