Walking around the family homestead and ran across this lonely specimen. Inky Cap mushroom (part of the Coprinoid group) in the final stages of a process called deliquescence.
I felt like a kid watching this, I was only 2yrs old when Apollo 11 landed on the moon. But, there was soooo much excitement over this at the time, I remember a lot of things about it. The Tang promo toys, the videos, the hero welcome.
