Three critters on my tail pop their heads out and I have to pose in rhythm, holding the button, when they hide, then I release the button in rhythm as well. There's a cue every now and then where the three critters jump together and I have to do a twirl while they're in the air.

I'm quite squeamish when it comes to depictions of internal organs. I feel a tightness in my chest and throat, and general discomfort. There's some nuance, I guess. When it comes to gore, DOOM 2016 doesn't bother me at all, while Mortal Kombat most definitely does. When it comes to body horror, it generally doesn't bother me at all.

I have a bit of an aversion to bright lights, sometimes it's legitimately painful. Sometimes I think my pupils take too long to adjust to light levels. If I'm under the light for a while it doesn't bother me as much.

I can't stand loud noises, or loud places, or loud people. I have a hard time functioning where there's a lot of loudness around me. I can't filter it out. I can hear very well, but sometimes I don't know what exactly I'm hearing. This is much

It has a fun and unusual syntax, I like how expressive it is, and I also like how you can use it together with the greater .NET ecosystem so that despite it being somewhat obscure it is extremely flexible and can do anything C# can.. and more!

For one F# is super easy to write little scripts on, like Python, it's what it's designed for, but you can also freely move up into writing whole compiled projects with it.

Also unlike Python, it has proper, strict typing that's checked at compile time, it's got a robust typing system much like Rust does, but as a nice and concise scripting language, this is especially true if you deal in pure F#, mixing with other .NET things may cause problems due to null references, which push errors to runtime, which is not fun.

It also has this feature called "Type Providers" which I found absolutely magical. If you're dealing with JSON, XML and the like, you can use the FSharp.Data to l

Well, I just answered a very similar question, but generally I like games with lots of potential for emergence, mechanics that interplay with each other. That's why I liked Mewgenics so much!

Beyond that, I grew up with racing games, so those are usually a safe bet too, I like to nyooooom... Casual games can be really fun too! I spent a lot of time with Bejeweled and the like.

Well, I don't like basically anything that mobile games are known for. Gambling, microtransactions, engagement hacking, gachas. I also generally dislike competitive online games, live service games, military games... and I think that sums it up.

What's the Kett's secret fighting game character unlock condition?

Once you enter the arcade mode, there's a random chance for an unselectable portrait of Kett to appear among the locked characters. If this happens, take your cursor to them, hold the "accept" button, and make slow, circular motions with your d-pad or analog stick. You'll hear a purring sound. Continue to do this until you hear a jingle. This will set the game to the highest difficulty. Choose your character and proceed as normal. On the final stage, you'll face off against Kett, and if you clear the fight without being knocked out even once, you'll unlock them!

It's possible to cancel my fire dash move into a jump once, which allows me to do a second dash in the air which further increases my speed, with good timing, once I hit the ground, I can jump again without losing much speed and repeat the process, reaching speeds way past the soft cap.

It doesn't make for a very good "third arm," it's also incredibly heavy, but I can wrap it around things and people, and even lift myself with it! I can also cause a lot of chaos with it. Sorry for knocking things over...

Anyone who's been checking my posts over the past 5 months or so will know that I got absolutely HOOKED on Mewgenics. It's everything I've looked for in a roguelike/RPG kinda thing, it's very similar to a game I've thought of making for a LONG while! It's really really good and you should try it out.

Another game that I've found pretty nice and sank some time into is Cobalt Core! It's really cute, I like the characters, and the gameplay is simple and fun.

FTL: Faster Than Light is a game I didn't know anything about, even though I've heard of it a lot. I got it for dirt cheap off of GOG, but I didn't think I'd play it very much, and I was wrong. I really liked it too! It's something I want to get back to eventually.

You can get a general feel for the kind of games I like from these three, I think...
