My daughter and I went to a local swap meet today and it was so depressing. The last time we went there we had to park blocks and blocks away and this time we parked right near the entrance. There was an ICE raid a couple of weeks ago so over half the stalls were closed.

I was at the #NoKings protest and it was awesome. No altercations that we could see, the police were doing their job but doing it kindly. There was a big turnout and it went really wonderfully. This picture is before we left for the protest. Everyone showing off their signs.

The only reason those people are okay with this bullshit is because the people being detained are brown. If they were white, I promise you theirreaction would be completely different.
