Just got rejected from a union gig I was pretty confident about so...please continue keeping me in mind for any storyboard/revisionist roles? 😅 I'm so tired and my insurance runs out in October. I'll probably have to start thinking about a new plan this fall if something doesn't work out by then
The Peter Pan ride at Tokyo DisneySea literally had me choked up like
We hiked up through Fushimi Inari Taisha yesterday, and while I was sort of unprepared for just how long and steep that would be, we made it to the top of the mountain! Hundreds of people started at the bottom and only a few were left by the end. Definitely worth the trek 🦊 ⛩️
Made it to Kyoto a few days ago! Absolutely love the older, natural vibe here compared to the overstimulating chaos of Tokyo (which I still really enjoyed). We’ve wandered into a lot of little shrines/temples and of course Kiyomizu-dera
Even for the simplest items the presentation was top notch and adorable
There was a random reservation slot available for the Kirby Cafe at Tokyo Skytree so we frantically translated the form and made it in!! Food was actually pretty enjoyable and of course there was exclusive merch to buy (we got a plate and forks)
Yesterday we went to Kamakura and Enoshima; Mount Fuji was a little visible through the fog! The trek up to Enoshima Island was tough but the view of the water from above was really worth it
We also went to the Monsters Inc pop-up cafe in Harajuku, food was ehh as expected but vibes were very cute and we bought a Mike mug lol
First full day in Japan - Meiji Jingu shrine/garden, Harajuku, and Shibuya! It was really annoying fighting for Shibuya Sky tickets a few weeks ago but in the end our 7pm time slot was worth it - like wow?! 😭😭
