I finally bought curtains for the 1960’s built in curtain rod in my bedroom. And it turns out I have no idea how it works. I thought it would be obvious when I got around to it.

Look. I don’t know what I’m looking at. But it’s part of an old curtain rod with loopy tabs on one side and a bulky metal train that runs the length of the curtain rod.

This is as far as I can get. I’m guessing because it’s assisted by electrical? I shouldn’t have insisted on opening them. But also then I wouldn’t know that it’s not turned on. Oh, and it’s leaking all the water stuck there when it lost power.

My precious baby fits on the induction range! The top and bottom can be merged, but not the side to side. I think I’ve wanted one before I knew they existed. I love cookware so much more than I love cooking.

I need a professional tall person to figure out how high the shelving needs to be. My proposal is about 10-12 inches above my head. It’s definitely too high where it is now.

I still can’t decide if I flew too close on trying to match the carpet to the bathroom tiles. But also what does good carpet look like? This one befuddled me more than the toilet and with a lot less choice.

Stalking my cats is pretty great. I got to see Buddy and Patch chase each other around, and then Buddy tried destroying a wand toy. Made me feel a lot better about Buddy since he hasn’t taken to the pet sitter.

I’m happy to report Buddy isn’t hiding under the bed today when I check on my feeder cam. He absolutely hides when the pet sitter stops by. But not slutty Patch.
