QTP with your favorite Electric-type pokémon ⚡️ Ampharos! It’s named after the pharos (lighthouse) of Alexandria, one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. It loses the last of its sheep wool when it evolves from Flaafy, but grows it back as a luxurious (staticky) mane & tail when it mega evolves 🥰

Ampharos, a yellow pokemon with black stripes on its ears, neck, and tail, a light belly, and red gems ln its forehead and the tip of its tail. It stands in its hind legs. Although it is a sheep pokemon, it looks kind of like a yellow kangaroo maybe?

Mega Ampharos. Looks like an Ampharos, with its upright stance and yellow body. It has a flowing white mane and fluffy white tail studded with red gems, in addition to the red gem on its forehead.

They are not real diamonds! They’re little plastic gems that you place carefully, one by one, on an adhesive background with a little tool. It makes a paint-by-numbers mosaic thing :) Very meticulous & slow & kinda hypnotizing. Been working on this one for ages.

Apparently the hotel where I got married is in there…gonna be a weird time. I love Horizon, tho. Such a good setting, & I like playing an archer :) Now that I have a PS5 I can finally catch up on it.

“Judeo-Christian values” apparently demand that the US be run by Christians…but not Judeos? 🤔 Perfect example of how this term lets Christians claim the history & heritage of Judaism without sharing power with living Jews. It hides the exclusion of Jews while making obvious the exclusion of Muslims.

In case anyone is curious, this is the book I’m using. It’s the same one my husband used in grad school; I yoinked it. I aim to work through it before fall classes start. For my degree, I only have to pass a reading comp test, not speaking/listening. The point is to be able to read academic sources.

Just got this from the principal at kiddo’s public school. Makes me furious. Fuck ICE, fuck DHS. People shouldn’t have to be scared picking their kid up from school. And our school district, which is already struggling, shouldn’t have to divert resources to watching out for jackbooted thugs.
