Also this from a week ago. It both returns the actual furniture company's information but also says that there's no active online presence for the company even though THEY HAVE A WEBSITE THAT'S LINKED ABOVE!!
I've also noticed that it seems worse recently!! the garbage AI overviews, irrelevant results on the first page that aren't what you're looking for. this is a screenshot of a search I did like last month
fifth place entry! this is the entry that SHOULD have won first place, by my assessment. top notch! a person with an actual talent for art and design seems to have made this poster! also even if it was actually made by AI, somehow it looks way better than the others that were clearly AI generated??
onto entry number 4. this one at least seems to be the work of a human, someone with some competency in a form of digital art/illustration/design software (I'm assuming it was done digitally but I don't know for sure). while it's not superb, it's fairly good, and is better than the prior three.
entry number 3: this one, at least the final version, appears to have been done by a human. it's not the strongest composition, but it's passable, and has more of a visual flow compared to the previous two.
the second place entry also looks like it could have been generated by AI and this one isn't very good either. it's not quite as chaotic as the first entry but it's still bad.
Here is the winning entry in all its AI-ified ingloriousness. this entry won $1000. some of the other entrants were robbed, I tell you!
hmm I wonder how difficult it could be to sew a replica (or at least something relatively similar to and inspired by) of this dress https://www.instagram.com/p/DaGMinNlGmL
why is it in french again?! note that the region says United States (English)!
costco hasn't had these mini quiche for awhile and I wanted to eat some the other day!
fuck this form lol I am not impressed with companies that do this kind of thing I deserve to be able to send in a media inquiry too even if I'm not a business!!
I was wondering if I could figure out what model or brand of pump it is based on what was shown in the commercial, but I haven't found anything that looks like it matches. also, why does she need to look at it randomly during lunch?
for some reason it gave this "overview" in french??
an AI-generated image purportedly depicting different types of infusion pumps but when you look closer, the labels for each one are garbled strings of pseudo-letters 🙃
more cool satellite imagery, this time southwest of salt lake city
more cool satellite imagery. it's Landmannalaugar in Iceland.
I do have to admit, this part was funny (that's pretty much the only thing though) www.nytimes.com/2026/07/25/u...
look at this wacky outfit they show a model wearing with the bonnet
as it has no viewfinder, I just pointed it generally in the direction of what I was trying to photograph. sometimes this was more successful than others. #shittycamerachallenge
I honestly don't get that many opportunities to scream so it actually could be enjoyable as a form of catharsis! in addition to the bizarre performance artwork aspect of it, which of course I am also interested in
Here you go; see alt text. It links to the website too, which isn't hyperlinked in alt text, so that is here: nationalrailroad.org
I thought it was cool that the satellite imagery of the lake showed it partially frozen, so I made a weird spy satellite (@weirdsatellite.bsky.social) inspired image (all labels and imagery choice were determined by me, not by bot)
should I buy these if I can find them? https://www.perdue.com/product/67-chicken-nuggets
looks like someone didn't read the prohibited items policy!!
here's the examples I tried just to see what it might look like. the one labeled as "WMATA brown-gray" is the color they're using on the website, but it's not necessarily the color I think the signage looks like when you actually see it in person
another thing I noticed is that on the contact page, the google maps widget is showing the wrong location. it shows a different Aggregate Architecture firm which is in DC, and at first I thought "wait, when did you open a second office there?!" www.aggregatearchitecture.com
