Rusty Cradle Translations

Fan-translator. Check pinned post for current download links. Saihate Hospital's translation is in open beta. Work has started on A Place Where Light Shines (光の射す場所)'s translation. I'll like/repost anything related to the games I've translated!
Second, I can't find the plugin that lets me change the text in these item descriptions (press A when over an item to open up an expanded description). I tested the plugin that does this - it doesn't open when that plugin's disabled. I copied over a version of this plugin from-- 1/2
Getting ready to post the Hallowwald trial on my alt account, but there are a few things: First, the name cutins when a character is introduced have this starry background, and I'm not confident in removing the JP text without ruining the background. I've tried to insert text within as subtitles.
I think they modified it for Innocent Rules since I copied and pasted it over to Hollowwald and got it working with English text. If you have the English translated IR, then you can try and copy and use that plugin for your game if you still need it.
stumbling on my first RMMZ TL hiccup... So, I have the level up text as %1 becomes %2 %3! which should work. %2 and %3 are calling the level term and level number successfully, but %1 is not. Picture shown is what's happening in game. I checked the original and it prints the name as it should.
Ah, that looks much better with the antialiasing. Thanks!
do I even want to edit this title to add English text..? it's really stylized and I'm not sure how would be the best way to do it. anyway, the first draft TL for A Place Where Light Shines is done and my alpha test will start soon.
this is him by the way. the succubi in Sequel all worship dragons for some reason.
when you confront the demon king, what do you say..?
you can't see them moving here, but the clouds in the background do move even when the controlled character does not. it might not seem like much, but for a freeware RM2K game with self-drawn assets, having a little detail like this is another thing I find charming about this game.
Saihate Hospital English translation alpha playtest is in progress.
this is a chipset this is also used as the stat growth menu in Saihate Hospital (pooled experience can be exchanged for money or for stats for your four main party members) for the first time in my life, I must translate a map chipset.
excellent hand-drawn enemy from Saihate Hospital.
the hand-drawn art from this game (Saihate Hospital) is immensely charming.
Saihate Hospital is shaping up to be another soulful game. Enemy: 暴れバーコード (Raging Combover) (these are like the first enemies)
PSA for those playing April Fools Feast English TL: All the name/word entering screens will start on hiragana. If you click the marked spot once, it'll turn to katakana. If you click it again, it'll be English letters. This will allow you to give your character an English name and enter passwords.
Oh. Right. Basically, you can complete it if you switch it to English by clicking the symbol change option marked as shown twice. Changing the game system itself to the English version of RM2K broke stuff, so I'm not sure what else to do.
Another thing, and unless I missed the tutorial for these... Equipment marked with [C] will only last for one battle while equipped, making them consumable equipment. This isn't really ever explained in game.
