The sudden storm scared Parker, so I took him to bed where I could hold him better, and he immediately climbed on top of me and fell asleep *ON* my head
I don’t think I could lift Mjolnir. Not that I don’t think I’m worthy enough. That thing just looks really heavy, and I get winded carrying in a large grocery order.
Heading back home with Parker after our walk, to find a wild turkey outside the main entrance to our building.
We didn’t last too long in the oppressive heat, but the husband and I did get down to the waterfront area for Canada Day 🇨🇦
Our building’s tennis court has finally finished being repaved, so Parker and I went to play ball
Just watched the 80s Hong Kong action movie "Righting Wrongs" with the amazing Cynthia Rothrock, and GODDAMN! Those 80s kung fu movies were just built different. Actions scenes today have nothing on these movies. The parking lot scene alone has some of the best stunt driving I've seen in any movie.

YetiCon Haul! I got a bunch of hot sauces, a Spidey pin (already attached to my bag) and a Mega Man. And for J, I got a whole whack of stickers, and some pins of his favourite One Piece characters (and a Pokémon)

Parker is being so good with the fireworks. He's alert, and aware of them, but he's mostly just chilling in my lap. I took him out for an extra long walk/jog until he was exhausted, and now he has no energy to be bothered by the noise.
