The gorgeous, delicate long haired color point girl sounds like a dissolute 1940s actress who smokes three packs a day. The plain ol' orange tabby girl mews like the flutter of angel wings.

Symmetrical cat stacking #catsofbluesky

A rather beat up cat tree. On the bottom is a Siamese mix, on the middle platform is a grey tiger cat, and on the top is a long-haired Siamese mix. Sadly, the flame point Siamese mix is no longer spry enough to get to the fourth and tallest platform, so he is sulking offscreen.

Found a really good tree this year. We'll put the ornaments on tonight while watching A Charlie Brown Christmas and the Chuck Jones Grinch (accept no substitutes.) Maybe some hot chocolate.

Apple pie accomplished. (I know you think you don't like apple pie, but home made apple pie is a whole different animal from the gloopy thing you get at the store.)

Haul from last weekend: petrified wood from Dobell Ranch in northern AZ. Located right outside the Petrified Forest, bring your own shovel and bucket. When we were there, someone had found an entire tree the day before, and they were excavating it. We were happy to get these fragments!
