This mama deer was also in the park. Sitting not too far away from her was a fawn. (Not a baby, but it did still have its spots). We were surprised to see both still hanging out in the same spots a good 20+ minutes later. 🦌😍📸 #deer #nature #wildlife

#MusicSky #CyndiLauper #vinylsky I was complaining to my husband a couple of weeks ago, that I could not find "Hole In My Heart" on Tidal.. not Cyndi's version, that is. So, he bought me the "True Colors: The Best Of" CD, as well as the 45" singles for that one, and "The Goonies "R" Good Enough".😍

"I'm 91 and this song reminds me of when the Beatles first played on Ed Sullivan. We didn't have a TV set back then but our neighbors did. I couldn't really see the band through the bushes but the window was open and we could hear it real good. My kids wear dancing around the yard until the dog came out and ran us back home. I haven’t seen/heard frogs yet, but I’m hoping the new pot will help. It’s mostly just been larger critters, as far as I can tell. There was a bunny that showed up a couple of days ago. 😃 I later saw it come into my yard, then back out.

My little area: 😃🐸📸

A small area of the yard that is full of various plants and water features for the local wildlife. This includes hostas, lavender, bricks for climbing, a “creeping Jenny” in a planter, a frog hotel (which is a pot full of water, rocks, PVC pipes, a solar light, and a lily plant), solar lights, two pots full of water and pond plants, a bronze snail lantern, a camera..

I probably have too many lights right here.😂🪰 But maybe they’ll realize how many bugs they can catch, and decide to hang out for a while. 😍 (I had a ceramic toad house by our tree, last year. There was at least one frog that came to visit. Unfortunately, the hotel got damaged over the winter. 💀)

🥰🐸 Just a DIY contraption. I’m hoping to attract tree frogs. I have a ramp behind this, that connects it to the pond. So they have some choices. There’s another, smaller pot with just rocks and water, that they can also sit in.

A do-it-yourself “frog hotel”, made with a grey plant pot, some rocks, a canna lily plant, a solar light, PVC pipes for the tree frogs to hide in.. and water! It sits up on some rocks.

One nice thing the veterinarian’s office does is send a thoughtful card after a pet dies. (I think most probably do this?) Sometimes we’ve received hair with it, and I think once we got a clay paw print. For our last two dogs, they’ve sent a couple of paw & nose prints. These arrived yesterday. 💖☺️

This week (since Thursday) has been kind of sad.. but full of meeting strangers’ beautiful dogs, spotting a local bald eagle a couple of times, at least two sightings of wild turkeys.. & I’m grateful for that. I also have an adorable new print from the #OdditiesFest to remind me of my pooch. 💖🐾

I went for my first walk after my doggy died, to see my favorite duck and to feed him (& the others) some food. While watching them eat, I realized that at the base of a nearby tree, some mamma ducks had hidden their eggs. I counted at least 10. 💖🦆🐣 😄☀️📸 #photosky #ducks
