Not seen this film for at least 15 years. Mainly because I thinkQuentin Tarantino is a wanker. Put it on and forgot just how glorious it was. So enjoyable. Regret to say it’s a masterpiece.

Watched On Body and Soul (2017) last night, beautiful film, it won the Golden Bear at the Berlin film festival and is one of thr best films I’ve seen in a long time.

My gateway album was “Trilogie de la Mort” is the ‘3hr minimalist electronic masterpiece. Inspired by The Tibetan Book of the Dead and shaped by the personal grief of losing her son.’ The Italian played it to me on an early date and it blew me away (also made me realise she was a keeper lol)

When I was (almost) young I was introduced to Mogwai (1999 - try not to think how long ago that was!) became besotted with them. In the separation with ‘Medusa’ I lost all my music, for the last 2wks I’ve weirdly been craving their music. Arrived to day and I feel (almost) young.

Saw Beethoven’s Ninth at the Southbank last night. Was actually the first time I’ve seen it performed and it was utterly glorious.

This will be my Friday night in. Ordered these when I was drunk and feeling nostalgic (and young!) and have just been delivered.

I must admit. I really want to visit this place.

Was browsing in a record shop and saw this, which I bought nearly 30 years ago and hadn’t heard it since. Totally forgot this album even existed until I saw it in the shelf. I remember really wanting to like it but always found it boring. Wonder if I will enjoy it now?

Went to see Sylvia Plath’s grave when I went back to Heptonstall. Was strange to be back after so long. Last time I was here was 10 years ago. My life is totally unrecognisable now to how it was back then.
