Lol. Crying. Rob Liefeld was fed a tiny helping of love and respect after decades of eating nothing but shit and its driven this jabroni to madness.
Reposting this old mox drawing I did for the dc aew collab years ago. One of my all time favorite dudes
when a guy who gets accused of the sort of shit warren ellis was credibly accused of wants to make a comic again I feel like that's fine. Self expression is okay even for creeps. I just dont understand why anyone else would choose to work with him/boost his name knowing what he did.
Congrats to all the Eisner winners but mostly congrats to my boy @nickdragotta.bsky.social. one of the best dudes i ever met and a dude who treated me like an equal when we definitely were not equals lol. Hes been one of the best most inspiring comic artists in the game and cool to ppl catching up.
Big rip. I remember rediscovering byrd years ago reading some of my old green lantern comics and being blown away by how ahead of his time he felt
This is silly, if there were only one primary source about Shakespeare and i was doing the other one I would absolutely avoid drawing any parallels to it. Notice how these two famous movies about Shakespeare are not referencing that image? And how hamnet is not also called shakespeare in love?
Lot of weird stuff in this response but to me the weirdest is the bit in here about how there is no way the two books could be mistaken for another. They have the same title. They're both called Charity and Sylvia lmao. Why not call it Sylvia and Charity or idk ANYTHING else?
took a scan to see how the colors would look since i typically hate scanning anything in color. not too bad!
Somehow ended up on a pr list for copic ahead of the release of these new multiliner+ pens they have coming out so I drew goku. Fun stippling in color. The pens are great and have replaceable nibs and ink. Very cool.
Messi is so great. Reminds me of steph curry in a lot of ways
As an adult I cant take people serious when they dont use serious breeds for their grilled cheese sandwiches. That's just me though.
watched The Day of the Locust last night. So great. Absolutely beautiful movie but also one of the darkest and most fucked I've seen in awhile. Truly a nasty cynical movie. Wish there were more like it.
Absolute batman for stocktoncon poster art. Colors by my guy brad Simpson
What's awesome about mortal kombat is it's so rich with potential for artists to graft their own unique aesthetic preferences onto and yet it still feels true to the source. ie ibrahim has an awesome thread of mk character designs based on martial arts/asian culture and then i do shit like this.
Unrelated but I wonder if they have made any strides in guillotine technology
