Lover of the Hawkeyes, Lakers, Tarheels, the outdoors, 90’s rap, animals, whiskey & craft beer, spicy food, and grilling/smoking/BBQ. I exercise a lot so I can eat a lot. Also geek out over weather/storms.
The air is already filled with wildfire smoke so might as well add a lil Kingsford to the mix 🤷♂️ 🔥💨
My lil man knows he’ll always get a chunk or two that falls off from the chicken thighs if he behaves himself 😂😂 Mario is def part of the #BBQmunity
My lil dude knows if he’s patient behaves he gets some chunks of grilled chicken before we take it in 😂 #BBQmunity
My first time using the Weber for this and I’m not sure I’ll ever make it any other way. Turned out pretty phenomenal.
My man Tater is already tuckered out from getting up early this morning to get the smoker going 🔥 #DogsOfBluesky #BBQmunity
Threw some wings on the vortex tonight, and tossed them with a homemade Korean bbq sauce 🔥🔥 #BBQmunity
Started prepping the garden today. Hoping to get it tilled next Saturday, and possibly get everything planted on Sunday 🧑🌾 still need to clean it up a bit, but definitely ending the day feeling productive. Time to grill and have a 🍻🍻
This is a real post from our Governor here in Iowa. Who on Earth thought this would be a home run thing to post? We didn’t forget that gas was just $2.50 or less a couple months ago. Not to mention, a ton of people can’t even use that. Iowa can’t get rid of her soon enough.
Sometimes you just need a Kwik Star breakfast pizza to get the day started 😍
Made some late night wings over the vortex on my Weber Kettle last night and I’m still thinking about them. Don’t think I’ll ever make wings any other way from here on out 🍗🍗🍗 #BBQmunity
If you haven’t spent time outside yet today, get outside. Just absolutely gorgeous outside
The pictures absolutely don’t do this spot justice. Basically just bluebells as far back as you can see. I always look forward to this area in April 😍🪻🪻 #IowaSpring
That bubble showing the chance of softball sized hail this afternoon is wayyyyy too close to Cedar Falls for comfort. Holy hell. #IowaStormSeason
