Tried something else tonight. I think the center diamond is too big, out of proportion. Might try it again tomorrow.
Test blocks for a quilt retreat project in a few weeks. I’ve wanted to make teeny baskets for a while, but keep putting it off. Maybe now is the time. Just have to decide between totally scrappy or coordinated fabrics.

This beast is finally completely quilted. Way too many hours, tucks, ripples, problems, but I still like it. Tomorrow I will trim it and wet block it to see how flat it’ll get. #artquilt And have y’all going to the North Texas show the end of July can see all of its issues up close and personal.
