🩵 Welcome, Asha! Her name means hope & life, & she has plenty of each. Found by postal workers after being hit by a car, she had two broken legs. Thankfully, both should heal completely. She's headed to foster care today, where this sweet, trusting girl will get lots of love (and plenty to eat!). 🐾

#It's #ThrowbackThursday!✨Abigail was a pregnant stray hanging around a nearby school. Thankfully, school staff called us. We took her in & soon 4 babies arrived -healthy & in a safe place. Abigail no longer had to worry about finding her next meal—just caring for her babies.🩷

Lily Ann always has a sweet hello for us. She'd be happy to be your very own personal greeter. "Well, in exchange for a few treats, some catnip, and a lot of love," she says. (She's a good communicator, don't you think?)

Cricket's health report: sniffles nearly gone, playtime at full speed! This 4-month-old cutie will be back with his kitty pals soon, but he's not complaining about all the extra TLC. 🩵🐾

Micah is such a handsome boy! He arrived with Miara, and they're a bonded pair. Micah has settled in and warmed up to us; Miara is making gradual progress and now accepts Churu treats from our finger and we can rub her head while she enjoys it. We're in no rush - our cats go at their own pace. ❤️

This little lovely, found all by herself, is so new we hadn't even introduced her to you yet, but today's visitors fell in love & want to adopt her! She's been very shy -just started to play last night, but trusted them totally! If all goes as planned, she'll go home in a week!💞

And then there were 3! Les rescued a black kitten & Mama yesterday & today went back & was able to find & reunite this little ginger too! We think there were only 2 kittens, but we'll be keeping an eye out just in case. So happy this family is with us - out of the heat & safe!

Les, our shelter manager, spent a long day in sweltering heat rescuing kitten & Mama, bringing them to a cool, safe place. The kitten had fallen through a broken window in the shed where they were found. Thank you to our amazing community for making rescues like this possible!❤️

💖Help us welcome Ditto & Dove! 💖We got an alert that these two little sisters were spotted at the county dump & we were there quicker than a cat to a cardboard box! They've been in a foster home for socialization & now they've come out of their shells & are ready for adoption!

🥳It was a great #Caturday #RappCats! Horton went home with a loving couple who adopted Millie back in March. He immediately went up to them both and said "yep, you are the ones!" Congratulations new family! And thank you to folks who want to specifically adopt older cats!!

❤️Adoption Update!❤️ "Jugs", spotted with his head stuck in a jar, was rescued one freezing winter morning in 2022. The jar came off with lots of grease, but his neck needed shaving & ointment. He was famished but friendly. Now, he's doing great! His new name is Oliver & he's well loved!💞

"Who is this pipsqueak?" asks Iris. When somebody else wants to play too! Sweets decided Iris shouldn't be the only one having fun!

We're excited at RappCats! Our new friends from a local program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities visited today. Bootsie and the cats loved this natural cat whisperer. They'll be joining us twice a month!🩷
