Built my Fiends of Slaanesh. More separate parts than necessary, to be honest. I haven’t glued everything together (the chest, the heads, and some of the pincers and one of the tails are stuck with tack), because I paint in sub-assembly. But they hold together easily enough. #warhammer #nerdlings

Dehumidifiers and AC save lives.

Like, if I was a new AOS player who picked Ossiarch as my faction, I’d go to a FLGS that offers 15% off and for about $400 CAD, I’d have a full playable army with choices to pick from for 1000 and 1500 games.

Basically like this image here, but the casement window(the surface the arrow points at is glass/plexiglass that fills the gap, it’s a casement window) needs to be much bigger.

Other countries have hinged windows too. I’ve lived in houses with both hinged and sliding. You can build a casement and seals on hinged windows too. Heck, worst case, used a portable AC unit straight under the window to make sure the exhaust pipe has as little area inside as possible!

You make a casement then. The window stays open, and depending on the AC unit, you fit the seal in a way where the heat stays outside? Do you think we don’t have hinged windows in Canada..??

Of course you can. Ppl in Canada and the US have just as many fitting issues with windows. Our windows aren’t all designed for AC units, so we have to come up with framing solutions. It’s not always elegant, but a determined person will make it work, because we have to!

No offense to my UK friends, but what’s the issue with the weather? Just for the record, where I live, the average weather at this time of year is 24C-27C with 50%+ humidity, and a humid 26-27 is normal until September. Is it because your infrastructure/homes ain’t built for it and lack A/Cs?
