My biggest oil painting to date: increasing sizes slowly. 11x14 oil on canvas, titled “Procession.” My family went to High Head trail in Prospect #novascotia last weekend to lay my grandmother to rest, and I tried to capture one of the moments on the trail. Heavy #impasto technique. #art

Fixing the light on an oil painting. I’m new to this! It’s new to me! Oils are cool though. Im digging it. This is a painting of Burchell’s Wharf, on the Peggy’s Cove Road in Halifax Regional Municipality.

What are we thinking? I think I like it. Oils are reaaaaally different from gouache but there’s something meditative about getting lost in every tiny brushstroke. I also feel INSANE about how much I love how warm the light looks. She glows ✨ I’ll link my process video below. #art #novascotia
