The purest distillation of trying to look smart by asking “does it scale?” without knowing what scaling means
Permanent DST would suck for large parts of the country, I almost hope this goes through just to see how mad everyone gets in winter. I know there are sleep and health costs to switching. But long summer evenings are good in a real way. Is it possible our current system is Actually Correct?
My senator, who has been in a coma for a month and presumed dead, texted me this
Motor has a *lot* of torque, really letting it go from a stop sign feels like
Got a chance to take a ridealso.com e-bike out for a spin yesterday. I think I still prefer something lighter and more like a bike but this is a very slick product that would be a very fun way to get around
Left off an important part of the quote: “According to the enterprise data company Entelligence, for each dollar...” Huh, Entelligence AI is selling a PR review tool that fixes the scary problem they're describing?
Visited my 17th Midpen preserve of 2026, the tiny corner of Teague Hill that has a trail through it. www.openspace.org/preserves/te...
Forgot to post about my 13th of 2026, Picchetti Ranch, but visited my 14th, 15th and 16th Midpen preserves today: Saratoga Gap, Long Ridge, and Skyline Ridge www.openspace.org
This is in fact one advantage that no longer exists. There are already plenty of non-Tesla EVs with NACS charging ports that do plug and charge at Superchargers, and over the next couple years it will become essentially all new EVs. I Did it with a Rivian R2 recently, it just plugged in and worked

If you're in the Bay Area - SFPUC has a huge chunk of protected watershed that you can *only* access as part of a guided activity; I'm a volunteer guide and I'm leading a ride this July 25. Info and free sign up here: www.sfpuc.gov/learning/com...
Drag coefficient less than 0.30, range greater than 300 miles Also a little cheaper than a Ferrari
Monstrous Moonshine proves that the Monster group and modular functions come from completely different worlds but share a deep, inseparable connection. Which got me thinking about our connection, baby.
I guess we're doing this leftishly now but because it's anti-AI it's fine (this is about the Bezos water quote) www.smbc-comics.com/comic/aaaah
Seriously this car is so nice, I cannot wait to get one for myself (just got a chance to take one of the first production vehicles for a day)
Oh not much just listening to the new Boards of Canada while trying out Universal Hands-Free in a Rivian R2
I mean given that they're going to have the revenue of Apple + Amazon by then, it totally makes sense that they'd have a 5X bigger market cap than those two combined?
Not surprised: SpaceX makes it official that they're acquiring Cursor immediately after their IPO xcancel.com/i/status/206...
RIP to all the dumbass retail bagholders who bought at $135 and sold at $160
Huh I wonder if they're selling something? “We give engineering leaders visibility into how work operates across code, people, and systems, and control over how that work progresses through enforceable workflows and policy.”
