Still time to submit a comment. TellOMB to abandon its plan to put $1 trillion in federal grantmaking into the hands of political appointees who don't have to follow peer review & must instead ensure that grants "demonstrably advance the president's policy agenda." This will destroy US science!
Reading the 1968 essay that got Andre Sakharov jailed. He warned about threats from carbon emissions! (not why he was jailed). FWIW, he also called out deforestation, waste dumping, pesticide overuse, wetlands destruction as threats to what he called "earth hygiene." Guy really was a genius!
Oh look my absentee ballot for the Louisiana June 27 primary arrived today. Two weeks after it was mailed and many weeks after it was requested. The Nov election is gonna be a sh1tshow!

Joyce (as though he were talking about the state of politics in the US today) "People could put up with being bitten by a wolf but what properly riled them up was a bite by a sheep" Happy Bloomsday everyone!
Mood right now as I look at what Tiny hands has done to our nation’s capital

Achievement unlocked—Carol Rose just told me my panel was fantastic
Ok. Please explain this ‘Canadians must do math to win’ requirement buried deep in the terms and conditions of a Marriott FIFA drawing.
Sen Tim Caine and I are in deep communication these days — about trans rights, and about how to lose your glasses on your face
