Now up to 27.3°C here…you can see where the house cooled down when we opened the windows and bifolds this morning…now the house is up to the ambient outside temperature. Pleasantly warm
I’m guessing there must be some local marine traffic on the Thames. Especially with the big ships docking a few hundred yards away. Never tried listening…🤔

That’s true…and it would probably be my preferred option for a more recent build. I fear many see surface mount as too challenging…whereas I see surface mount work as a joy, and the much easier route
The Goodyear blimp has been hanging around our area for the last few days. Something quite magical about this form of transport…and I’d love to try a Zepp antenna from one 👍
Warm inside the house today, for sure🥵 Humidity has definitely been dropping this week, and we’ve got all the doors and windows open - which keeps the CO2 levels in the house low.

We have all the fans going and all the doors open…but it’s still warm. A/c is fixed at least, and we can run it over night- which certainly helps get a good nights sleep

SE London sometimes feels like it has the postal service of a small impoverished Pacific island…and it’s only going to get worse soon with these changes. Like so many things you pay for a service & then that service is diluted to the point of being pathetic…
If I had my way, I’d jump in a car and drive straight to Swansea and get a large tub of Joe’s ice cream with a healthy sprinkle of chocolate and nuts on it…God’s ice cream! I just have to live vicariously through previous photos
We’ve made it to 29.4°C in the house so far…but it was hot walking back from the gym🥵 No respite from the heat in London today! I am hoping our replacement a/c parts will turn up today. Having said that I am not sure I want to turn the a/c on, as the Agile electricity price is punishing this evening
I now wish I was staying at a friend’s home in the Quantocks, where their orchards make fine cider…perfect chilled on a warm summer’s day, and then drunk from a two pint cider mug
Wow! That’s warm for you guys! We’re still a little lower than that that! However we’ve had a birthday breakfast at Roe with the family, and now planning a long walk and afternoon tea at a local cafe
