#sotd Alfred Sung Pure. Wavers between rich florals and a soft squeaky clean bath product with a creamy undertone. The tangerine runs throughout and absolutely sang in the warmer parts of the day. Skin scent is the luxury moisturizer on the vanity of a fancy hotel. I feel pampered🧖🏻 #fragrancesky

#sots Estee Lauder Pleasures Intense. Blackcurrant, peony, and jasmine are almost too loud, but breathe: she settles into a pastel of a sunlit dining room filled with flowers. Am happy to explore her other facets (if she has any) with my generous decant that came with a Mercari order. #fragrancesky

Once you pick your way through the underbrush of a bitey bracken opening, you find yourself in a field of fragrant heather, creamy vanillic gorse, and honeyed broom flowers ringed in silver birch trees: a refuge in quiet moments treating in a busy clinic. #fragrancesky

#sotd Try it Again Thurs, Byredo Bal d' Afrique. 2nd trial and I was greeted by a linear citrus body lotion and very greasy florals on skin. But in air? I kept crossing my own scent trails like jet contrails to get that hit of smooth petals and citrus given zing from the buchu.🙂‍↔️ #perfumesky#scentsky

#sotd Stella Pop by @stellamccartney.bsky.social of 4160 Tuesdays fame. No doll head in sight, just soft whispers of florals and woods. Moments of brilliance as the two entwine and part like dancers on separate leaves. Beautiful art but does not move me past admiration for the craft. #fragrancesky

#sotd Kerosene Black Vines. 🤯 Black licorice stirred into forest air and strained to a watery forcefield of joy. Devoid of spicy biting bitterness; just a lingering nibble and catch in the back of the throat. Defies physics, but scent often does. My kind of gourmand. #perfumesky #fragrancesky

#sotd Craft by Andrea Maack. Photorealistic glacier ice caked on the rocks of a mountain stream. It wavers between a memory of taste and smell; mineral and aquatic with an earthy sweetness. Within 2 hours it fades to a dry stone from the combination of grassy patchouli and dry elemi. #perfumesky

For #sotd Oil Friday 😁 I chose Mercari blind buy Sixteen92 Louise 📽️ 🤍 Very timid opening, soft like a pale cheek, the kohl and ink pull strong then recede as the impressions of florals and musk come into soft focus. The vermouth and suede give a glossy sweet texture like a reel of film. #perfumesky

I think they do have bangers occasionally. Alula is a lovely spiced plum. Very evocative of the inspiration - spice market in Morocco. Starts off juicy but kind of muffled like you're in an ancient spice trader's pocket getting rolled around with all the bits and bobs he's picked up in his trade.

The sandalwood and orris give the oil a waxy quality until it melts, conforming to skin at last for a unique wear that's addictive. #perfumesky

Received my Scent Trunk goodies today and I wish I sampled more to take advantage of it! But I'm VERY pleased. At first sniff, Vineyard Truffle is the perfect red wine scent with just a hint of savoury earthy delights. The rest I'll get to know no doubt! #perfumesky #fragrancesky
