Enjoyed going into the new Liverpool pub—the Queens Arms—on Victoria Street on Friday. Beautiful. And lots of drink options. Some areas with TV for sporting occasions, much without.
Was nice to go to the Liverpool Beer Festival yesterday, in the wonderful Lutyen’s Crypt. Saw many familiar faces, and had a few nice halves. Cheers!

The Premier League programme today looks a tad thin. Christmas and Footy traditions just disappear. Sad. Even worse, at least if it was an afternoon kick off we could watch in the pub. But in the evening there are no buses. ⚽️🍻🤷♂️
Oh well, I guess there weren’t even cabbages and swedes left in the Aldi tonight. It’ll have to be a dive into Lidl for a demi-baguette then. 🤷♂️

Nearly sent the UK till system into meltdown today when I ordered an afternoon half.
After what seems like nine years or so the scaffolding is finally down and you can see Dr Duncan’s again. Yes, it IS still there.
