It's 2026 and I'm still more likely to face violence by men (and rates are climbing), and have to see open jokes about it go unchecked by a ferry full of men too scared of losing male privilege to ever do a fucking thing. Oh, you're afraid to get beaten up if you say something? THAT MUST BE AWFUL.

My dad has always been my #1 cheerleader. Whatever I choose to do, he's always right there supporting and encouraging me. He had a heart attack three days ago, and we're spending Father's Day in the hospital. It was scary, but he's okay, and I'm glad I can show up for him like he shows up for me!
