Being hated by losers is the price I pay for not being one of them
Hearing the reasons why Canada rejected the trade deal with the United States kind of makes my blood boil. POTUS was trying to restrict us from trading with anybody else and was trying to roll back on French language laws in Quebec. The only response is "how dare you". Eat shit Cheeto Mussolini.
My EC video has hit 100K views, and I had to ban over 100 people GR conspiracists, send em to the Moon Accusations of being performative, send em to the Moon Edgelords endorsing the game, send em to the Moon People using slurs, send em to the Moon Guy who worked on the game, send em to the Moon
I know controversy drives engagement, but man, was today's video a bad idea? Between the amount of people I've had to ban, and the risk of the video being taken down, my mind is racing right now.
It's a morbid thought, but sometimes I wonder if I went off the deep end, how many of my social media posts would end up in a hypothetical Down The Rabbit Hole style documentary about me.
I saw the numbers that my video today was doing, I opened my comment section for 3 seconds, and I decided that I'm going to be going offline for the day.
I was introduced to Regular Show back in 2018. I watched episodes here and there since, but rn, it's the thing I put on in the other window while editing Two things 1. I'm sad I missed out on it when it was new 2. At this point, I reflexively skip ahead whenever Mordecai is talking to Margaret
I think my all time most tortured joke is this Why did Quan Chi get the word "quality" tattooed above his pectoral? Because quality over Quan-titty
Never assume that someone is your enemy until they give you a reason. There are plenty of evil people in this world, but there are far more who are just normal people. The moment you treat someone as an enemy who isn't one, you give them a reason to be an enemy of you and everything you stand for.
One thing I've never really been clear on, is it a bad look to respond to criticism? Cuz I feel like if somebody is saying something about you that is patently untrue, there shouldn't be any problem with clarifying. But a lot of people seem to interpret that as defensiveness.
I got a lot of funny responses to my Sly 4 video, but the one that takes the cake are the people saying "you've been talking about this game for 10 years, get over it" I have not been covering the game for 10 years, I have however talked about the game a few times in over 10 years Big difference
It's just occurred to me that I beat E33 a year after it came out, and I somehow never had the act 2 twist spoiled for me. If disassociation was an Olympic event I'd take home the gold easily.
Alright, video number 200 is finished, uploaded, and ready to be released when I feel like it. 3 hours 41 minutes. To this day, nobody has correctly guessed what it is. Even though I've mentioned 1. It's a topic already covered on my channel 2. The word "time" being repeated multiple times
I didn't realize so many people would have found my anecdote in my video today as alarming as they did Yeah, I lived in close proximity to a drug addict in 2014, yeah I slept with a knife under my pillow because I was afraid they would try something. That was a lifetime ago. Thanks for the concern
So yeah, my 200th video is going to run in excess of three and a half hours. Excuse me while I melt into an oleaginous puddle for the rest of the month.
Holy shit this is funny, I made a video nearly 5 years ago about how Star Fox needs to move on from Star Fox 64, because the last two revivals were a remake, and a reimagining of it, and the last new Star Fox thing was in 2005. Lo and behold, the new Star Fox game is another reimagining of SF64.
I think I'd like to take another stab at a couple of my older videos. In particular, my Volition Retrospective and my Spider-Man 2000/Enter Electro video. I didn't research thoroughly enough for the Volition video, and the Spider-Man video was rushed out to coincide with Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
So the finished audio for my 200 video is 185 minutes. Including an extended cameo, it'll make sense once the video is out. Boy I can't wait for this shit to be done. Why do I need 185 minutes for a video? Because the subject matter of the video can only be described with this gif.
I guarantee you that 99% of the people who are bitching about the topic of abortion in Invincible are bad faith actors who have never actually watched the show, or read the comic.
If I get another tuxie, I'm considering the name Storm. Since my late tuxie and best friend was named Gambit after the comic character. I've read that Storm is Gambit's best friend in the comics.
199 is done, now 200 is all that remains. This next video might just be the end of me.
I saw there was some discourse on Twatter about why YouTube game reviewers don't do the whole "comedy focused, skit-filled, story driven" reviews with like, evil doppelgangers and such anymore Simple answer, we outgrew that shit. If you don't enjoy making it, it won't be sincere. Just how it is.
I know I'm not the first to point this out, but this was literally my first thought when watching the latest episode of Invincible.
It's so refreshing to work on a project I'm legitimately passionate about. Piecing together the story of Eurocom through various interviews has been some of the most fun I've had producing a video in ages.
You know, I'm not really into cartoons, but I would watch the shit out of a Jeff The Shark animated series
Kind of amusing to me that whenever I "fail" to bring up anti-woke talking points in my videos, there are people who take it as a slight against them. As if their unhinged beliefs are so irrefutable, that me not bringing them up must mean something devious. As opposed to what it actually is...
