New Laws Going Into Effect in July 2026 Across California "California will ring in the new month with a wave of wage hikes." Others include: how food and beverages are labeled, school cellphone use, streaming ads, and driverless cars www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/n...

Local jurisdictions, such as Los Angeles County, will update their minimum wage ordinance, with their hourly pay rates exceeding that of the state’s requirement. Currently, Californian’s minimum wage is $16.90 per hour for most economic sectors.

Hotel and hospitality workers as well as those in the health care industry in some cities will see their hourly pay rates go up, starting on July 1.

After his first post went viral, followers began asking him to bring along a physical newspaper each day to prove the date — and to prove he was really biking there everyday.

“It makes it feel like a hostage video,” he laughs, “like a proof of life video.”

While FloGPT suggests prompts like “Flo, how do you come up with hooks that are so catchy?” or “Flo, what’s one health or fitness tip you live by?”, we ignored that softball shlock and went straight for the one hard-hitting question we had: “Is Flo Rida performing at the Great American State Fair concert series organized by Freedom 250?”
